Bereavement is a natural and universal human experience. It is the profound sense of loss and grief that follows the death of a loved one. While adults may have developed coping mechanisms to deal with bereavement, children and adolescents often struggle to understand and process their emotions. It is crucial for caregivers and educators to provide the necessary support and tools to help children navigate through their grief in a healthy way.

Ursula Cisa

Ursula Cisa is an Accredited Play Therapist. She studied at the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) and the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (APAC).

She is on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists that the Professional Standards Authority has accredited.

She is a member of Play Therapy Ireland, Play Therapy International and the Psychologist Protection Society.
She also holds an Honours Higher Diploma in Education from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, from which she has over 20 years of experience working with children.
